DOUBLE WHAMMY

Everyone who promises is in debt,
accept promises and stake a bet.
When folks’ problems bother you,
your own worries become double.

VISUALIZE THIS

Vision is relative to knowledge not sight.
Power is relative to resistance not might.
Distance, relative to destination not height.

VISUALIZE THIS

Vision is relative to knowledge not sight.
Power is relative to resistance not might.
Distance, relative to destination not height.

VISUALIZE THIS

Vision is relative to knowledge not sight.
Power is relative to resistance not might.
Distance, relative to destination not height.

ONE WAY OR ANOTHER

One day all suffering will come to its end,
from the hardest surface of an open bed,
to the hollow emptiness of hungry children.
One way or another, men will change or bend.

WHEN YOU ARE GONE

When you are gone, you are gone.
You’re over, and absent and done.
Time as you know it, ends for you.
That much is irrefutable and true.

OPINIONS AND OPINIONS

“Men in those days had convictions;
we moderns only have our opinions.”
Back then they stepped up, had it done;
today we simply have a say on our phone.

BIOLOGICAL IDENTITY

Where are all those true women,
the women that birthed all men?
Cheer and celebrate your gender,
as biology identifies your member.

BACKWARD MADE FORWARD

Everyone can’t see their future for certain,
not without their past making it all happen.
It’s no mystery that for every step forward,
one taken in its past had moved it onward.

WHEN OLDER MEN THINK

Whenever the older men think,
they reason in mental puzzles.
Many pieces to pick and link,
their logic drips and drizzles.

THOSE BETWEENS

We were all born and will all die,
that much is similar for all, no lie.
It’s the fillers between that differs,
for it is about living how it matters.

LOVE BUT SYMPATHIZE

Love is commonest feeling abused
but sympathy most popularly used.
Words can never express as much,
even if at their best they say such.

MOUNTAINS WERE DRAGONS

Mountains were dragons that died
and like the earth, they were stilled.
To hold the sky up their forms rose,
like ancient pillars in gigantic pose.

MY CONSCIENCE AND I

Most times it’s Yes when I think No.
Often enough, I do not even know.
But then I do have the conscience;
a friend on either side of the fence.

THE RIGHTS AND THE WRONGS

When I’m wrong, I can also be right,
bias in opinion can blur one’s sight.
When I’m right, I can create wrongs,
reasoning grows off faith it belongs.

A POLISHED GEM

You saw what you could see often,
enjoyed all frequently and in open.
Learned properly all that you could,
taught all the best way you should.
Built joyful memories to the brim;
you are indeed the polished gem.

THIS IS SUCH A SHOCK!!

I will greatly miss your kind and encouraging words!!

I’m glad in my own small way I had cheered you, entertained you & shared bits of warm moments of reflections with you.

Thank you for always being there.

Rest in perfect peace Mummy!!

A THOUGHT IN THE HEAD

Just to think about it for a moment
lingers on like brain waves on rent.
Taking form but not actually there,
yet it’s there not fully or ever clear.

HOPELESSNESS

Regret is not the useless emotion,
it has its uses in the right situation.
Hopelessness is the most retched,
because regret corrects one notion
but hope once defeated is ill-fated.

DIRTIED MINDS

In the dirtied minds of an enlightened world,
we virtually walk more naked than we should.
Morals are now as selfish as are perspectives.
Our media soiled vision has rottened our motives.

TREES AS PEOPLE

Trees are quite simply like people,
without all their inhumane trouble.
Come in different shapes or sizes.
Bred and groomed for their uses,
cut in their prime or as aged prizes.

WHY LIARS LIE

Everybody knows why liars lie,
because everyone has told a lie.
Where the truth isn’t convenient,
lies steal in briefly to be sufficient.

EVERYONE IS GRIEVING

Everyone is grieving about something,
because everybody has lost something.
Surest way to show how much we care,
is being there when none again is there.

WORDS ARE NOT CHEAP

Words aren’t cheap, believe it.
Words are certainly expensive.
What’s cheap lack words for it;
why it’s not quite as expressive.

Words express trip to the moon,
such as the blind will imagine it.
Whether late, timely or too soon,
words colours haziness and fix it.

SAME

Living beings are same in respects,
sharing every kind of commonness
All feed, bleed and breed prospects
then waste to finished nothingness
