Ever wondered what built the sky
and gave it such a roof quite high?
Ever wondered who put men here
and whatever for they would dare?
Sometimes you look up in the sky
and wonder if these skies up high
somehow mimic your exact mood;
maybe guide you with some cloud,
mirroring your feeling and attitude.
As if any of us can control time,
we act like we could all the time.
Keeping it handy, save and set it,
yet none predates it or outlives it.
They caged my freedom with walls,
but my mind roams where it wishes.
I am timed like sentenced waterfalls,
with the skies above my only beaches.
Someone said the sky have a mind,
with their unique behaviors to find.
With shades and character moods,
like people, skies’ve bad and good.
At the beginning you were all alone,
then met the world into you’re born
Saw its skies and all its waters too,
then people you make feel so alone.
When the skies are red
peace leaves the streets.
War proclamations are read,
planting fields honor defeats.
